Kalmiopsis Audubon Society is a non-profit conservation and education organization. Our work is done primarily by volunteers, and the majority of projects are supported by donations and dues from our local members.
Dues and donations enable us to continue monitoring and responding to threats to wildlife habitat in Curry County, to publish the award winning Storm Petrel–the best source of local environmental news–and to provide other educational materials and programs in our communities.
But there is always more that could be done! If you share our goals of protecting habitat for birds, fish, and wildlife in Curry County and offering public education about conservation issues, please join our membership and consider volunteering or making a gift to the Kalmiopsis Audubon Society.
